Phase IV
Over the next five years, Roots; The Redwood Tree Organization NFP, Inc. intends to renovate various properties in Zip Code 60612, as well as expand to neighborhoods of Englewood, West Englewood, Auburn Gresham, West Lawn, Archer Heights, Lower West Side (Pilsen), Chicago Lawn, West Elsdon, McKinley Park, and Gage Park (utilizing a local general contractor and laborers for all projects). Funding for these projects will be sought from private foundations and U.S. government grant awards earmarked for energy and green retrofitting of specific building structures, plumbing and electrical equipment to ensure the maintenance and preservation of the building and land. Thus the value of all reinvested properties would increase annually and their service to a good cause extended for many years to come.
