Our Story

A love of reading that he shared with his sister, Amber Lynn, is what inspired Aaron Reese to launch The Lynn Foundation: Library for Humanity. They were both early readers, being introduced to books by parents who knew teaching your child to read early and well has multiple benefits and is the key to a child's academic future.

Starting as early as preschool, Amber and Aaron talked, shared and traded books on a wide variety of topics. He was also often pulled into Amber’s young philanthropic efforts — like gathering and sending donations and supplies to countries she’d read about or seen on the news. Sadly, as a teenager, Aaron faced the sudden and tragic loss of his big sister, and it is in her memory that this foundation was born.

Mission Statement

The Mission of The Lynn Foundation: Library for Humanity is to donate books to people in impoverished and undereducated areas. The vision is to create a world where all people who want to read have access to books.
