Jerome Prince offers a strong skill set and wide range of talents to voters as a candidate for Lake County Assessor.
Jerome’s list of talents and accomplishments is long and impressive. He is a lifelong resident of the county, and a Lake County Council member for the last six years. Mr. Prince has worked in the property valuation field for many years. He has instructed classes at the annual Assessor’s conference, served as Deputy Assessor in Calumet Township, realtor, tax representative and has earned the Level 3 Assessor-Appraiser designation from the State of Indiana.
Jerome has helped his fellow citizens in many capacities: numerous county boards (Solid Waste Management, Public Defenders, Community Corrections), the Gary City Council, and was recently appointed to the Indiana Commission on Courts by the Indiana General Assembly. Of important note, he is a veteran, having served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
On a personal level, Jerome’s been married to DeAnna Prince for over thirty years. Together, they have successfully raised four sons who are now realizing their own dreams.
