Mission Statement

Lijah Bear Foundation, Inc. serves as a resource for children and their families who have been diagnosed with leukemia and/or are currently at battle against any form of childhood cancer. Our goal is to bring comfort to the patient, the parents, and the siblings by providing an outlet for normalcy and a mental health break during and after treatments. Our goal is to help families remember that there is life outside of chemotherapy, know that we understand what you are going through and we are here to help. Our programs include sibling activities, medication assistance, and providing care packages to inpatient families.

He underwent chemotherapy immediately and continued with chemo, blood & platelet transfusions until his passing on February 7, 2015. Read More
