Your local bureau for better business

Certification Basic Guidelines

Business certifications insure the following:

The majority of the corporate shares are owned by the community or the business uses above 85% of the local community workforce.

All work in the immediate community is guaranteed and dishonest practices and shabby uncorrected work is subject to fine, boycott, exposure, and black ball from the community consumer network.

Local businesses or any commercial structure will not devalue the community with trash and poorly kept premises. Furthermore, registered businesses will treat customers with respect and share in the responsibility of building a better community at which the business is located.

All infractions after the second warning will be penalized and action for De-certification will begin. Re-certification is subject to penalties, public apology, and 90 day probation with a consumer survey and positive review before re-certification.

All service businesses bearing the seal of Community 1st must provide clients with a contract binding them to this commitment.

All entities must publicly display the Community 1st Seal at the work place or readily accessible when conducting services if the entity has no location. This will help authenticate the commitment and inform participating patrons of their obligation.
